Just Breathe.... Breathing rooms in the studio!

In our environment in Pittsburgh PA we end up indoors quite a bit throughout the year. Not to mention our work lives are often spent in offices. I feel it is my job as a practitioner to make sure that my clients can have to most impactful treatments possible. During a yoga kriya, sound session, or meditation, breath work is key. In my other career as a landscape designer and plantsman I have learned the benefits that plants provide in our studio space.

Gardening is all about wellness

This is a page from the 2018 Garden Trends report put out by the Garden Media Group.

What we breathe out plants breathe in and clean, then they breath out what we need to breathe in.

They do this so well that NASA decided to study them to see how they could help with life in space. The findings have been amazing.

Finding your zen and breathe deep!

These Plants work better than most air purifiers.

NASA has been able to identify the top performers and many are very easy to care for houseplants..

This research has sparked the creation of the breathing room. Using these low maintenance plants we can make our studio truly a place to heal and connect. These plants will clean VOCs out of the air that come from our building, dust from the air, smoke from incense, and can even boost the immune system.

Plants impact us in so many ways. Visually the color green creates a sense of peace. The essential oils in the plants that release into the air can lower blood pressure, reduce cortisol levels, and get the NK cells working in the body.

Why wouldn’t you want to create a breathing room in your Studio?
